Procurement process
Through our many years of experience and good cooperation with our suppliers, we are able to guarantee compliance with the supply chain. We monitor the route our wood takes until it is handed over to our customers and can thus ensure consistent quality and reliability.
Customer-specific support, demand-oriented goods control, procurement, storage and logistics are a matter of course for us.
Growth
Not only the end product is important to us, but also the origin of our wood. That’s why we pay attention to sustainable and responsible forest management when choosing our suppliers – right from the start.
Felling
We select our producers according to the type of wood in the various European regions. This enables us to select the right wood together with our suppliers even before felling. Particular importance is attached to the correct felling of the trees at the right time.
Saw mill
We guarantee consistent quality and dimensional accuracy. Therefore, we regularly check the wood and the cutting on site. The goods are hand-picked and neatly packed and delivered to our warehouse in Hirschwang or shipped directly to our customers after personal acceptance. Thus it is also possible for us to procure individual goods.
Pre-Storage
When the goods arrive, they have usually already been selected and accepted by us and are then carefully pre-stored for the drying process in our storage yard in Hirschwang.
Drying
Our own drying process guarantees consistent quality. In the drying chambers, the sawn timber is reduced to the required moisture content for further processing and depending on its use. We have the optimal drying process for every need and can adapt the process to individual requirements.
Sorting
We sort our stock goods according to your demand before each delivery. We attach great importance to the consistent quality of our products and also guarantee the dimensional accuracy in every package.
Storage
After the drying process, the dried assortments are temporarily stored in packages in our spacious drying warehouse for delivery. This enables us to deliver all assortment products quickly and on time.
Delivery
We take care of the logistical organization and deliver the ordered goods by truck to the desired address according to customer requirements. The loaded goods of the truck are individually arranged for you in our warehouse according to your needs.
